| The Harmony Society or previously know as the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America, Inc. WE ARE PART OF THE CENTRAL STATES DISTRICT. Our chapter was chartered 65 years ago as of May 21, 2007 Our primary performance venues are retirement communities and groups in the greater St. Louis/St. Charles area. We entertain with a thirty to forty-five man chorus in addition to several quartets. ALL OF OUR PERFORMANCE REVENUE IS GIVEN TO VARIOUS CHARITIES. Some of our favorite charities are the St. Joseph Institute for the Deaf Friends of Kids with Cancer and The St. Louis Christmas Carols Association.
